Risqué business! Tom Cruise ‘spotted dirty dancing with pretty brunette at New York night club’

Love is in the air for Tom Cruise it seems.

The Mission: Impossible star may have found romance again – six months after his divorce from Katie Holmes.

Cruise is said to be ‘enamoured’ with a 26-year-old New York restaurant manager after a date night of drinking and dancing at a French-themed night club in Chinatown, NY.

According to In Touch magazine, Cruise, 50, met brunette beauty Cynthia Jorge on December 18 when he was dining at Lower East Side’s Beauty & Essex – where Cynthia works as the manager.

An eyewitness told the magazine: ‘He was mesmerized by Cynthia.

‘She had her hair in a bun, wore tight black pants and looked gorgeous.’

After a meal of sashimi and empanadas, Cynthia apparently handed Cruise her card… and the bold move paid off.

It is believed that Cruise called Beauty & Essex twice the very next day to track the young woman down and eventually got a message to her after being ‘put on hold for a very long time’.

Less than 24 hours later the duo – along with some friends – were seen at La Baron night club where Tom was ‘sweeping her round the dance floor’, reports In Touch.

An eye-witness told them: ‘They did the salsa. He took her in his arms and spun her around the dance floor. Tom looked like a pro.’

Then things started to get a bit racy, continued the witness.

‘At one point, they began grinding together,’ they said.

‘It was straight out of Dirty Dancing. Tom seemed to be in his own world, completely smitten.’

But ever the gentleman Cruise reportedly made sure a private car was waiting outside the club to whisk the Queens native back home safely.

The Mail Online contacted Cruise’s spokesperson for a comment but have not received a response.

The Scientology-loving actor recently denied claims he has been romantically involved with Jennifer Ackerman, sister of actress Malin Ackerman.

Cruise and Jennifer were apparently spotted spending time with each other at a Stockholm nightclub after the Swedish premiere of his latest film Jack Reacher but a representative has denied anything is going on.

A source told E! News: ‘The whole thing is completely ridiculous. Jennifer was there with her whole family who were cropped out of the picture.

‘She happily lives with her boyfriend in LA.’

Comfortable: Bush is staying at Methodist Hospital in Houston and has promised ‘not to get too grumpy’ for the extended visit to the hospital

A persistent fever that kept former President George H.W. Bush in a hospital over Christmas has gotten worse, and doctors have put him on a liquids-only diet, his spokesman said Wednesday.

Jim McGrath, Bush’s spokesman in Houston, had said earlier in the day that the fever had gone away, but he later corrected himself.

‘It’s an elevated fever, so it’s actually gone up in the last day or two,’ McGrath told The Associated Press. ‘It’s a stubborn fever that won’t go away.’

Bush said that a 'stubborn' fever that has plagued the former president over the Christmas break is on the rise, which forced his doctors to put him on a liquids-only diet Medical woes: A spokesperson for George H.W. Bush said that a ‘stubborn’ fever that has plagued the former president over the Christmas break is on the rise, which forced his doctors to put him on a liquids-only diet

Doctors at Methodist Hospital in Houston have run tests and are treating the fever with Tylenol, but they still haven’t nailed down a cause, McGrath said. Doctors also have put Bush on a liquid diet, though McGrath could not say why.

The president has been in intensive care since Sunday, KHOU 11 News learned on Wednesday, and his condition is said to be ‘guarded,’ although Mr Bush remains alert and talking with family and his doctor.

The bronchitis-like cough that initially brought Bush to the hospital on November 23 has improved, McGrath said. The 88-year-old is now coughing about once a day, he said.

Bush was visited on Christmas by his wife, Barbara, his son, Neil, and Neil’s wife, Maria, and a grandson, McGrath said. Bush’s daughter, Dorothy, will arrive Wednesday in Houston from Bethesda, Maryland.

The 41st president has also been visited twice by his sons, George W. Bush, the 43rd president, and Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida.

George H.W. Bush spent Christmas with his wife and other family members in a Houston hospital after developing a fever and weakness following a month-long, bronchitis-like cough.

A hospital spokesman had said the 88-year-old ex-president would be released in time to spend the holiday at home, but that changed after Bush developed a fever.

‘He’s had a few setbacks. Late last week, he had a few low-energy days followed by a low-grade fever,’ Jim McGrath said. ‘Doctors still say they are cautiously optimistic, but every time they get over one thing, another thing pops up.’

Bush, the nation’s 41st president, and his wife, Barbara, live in Houston during the winter and spend their summers in a home in Kennebunkport, Maine.

The former president was a naval aviator in World War II – at one point the youngest in the Navy – and was shot down over the Pacific. He achieved notoriety in retirement for skydiving on at least three of his birthdays since leaving the White House in 1992.

Being in the hospital for such a long time has not been easy for Bush, who is accustomed to being active, McGrath said. But the president has said he’s determined ‘not to get grumpy about it.’

‘He’s just the most relentlessly positive person,’ McGrath said, and ‘he does enjoy joking with the nurses.’

Real Wedding: Rachel + Chris in Ohio

Real Wedding: Rachel + Chris in Ohio yellow red by color real weddings by color

Wow, talk about a dream venue! Captured by Studio Elle Photography, Rachel and Chris were married last June in a beautiful church ceremony in Akron, Ohio. The church was actually renovated by the bride’s father, Jay Crafton, a Youngstown, Ohio architect. Every detail of the day was expertly curated to reflect the couple’s modern sensibilities. Rachel is an aspiring architect and art enthusiast, so it was very important to her to have a clean, modern environment for her wedding. I absolutely love that the reception was held in a local modern art museum! The angular architecture and bold colors of the museum served as a fabulous backdrop for photos. The guests enjoyed a variety of cake balls instead of a traditional wedding cake, allowing each guest to pick their favorite flavor. Gray and yellow reception decor perfectly accented this modern event.

The couple’s story from the bride:

Rachel and Chris began dating in high school. In 2005, Rachel went to Kent State University to pursue a degree in architecture, while Chris studied mechanical engineering at the University of Akron. They successfully made it through four years of undergraduate school together, emerging as a stronger couple in 2009.

Chris’ job moved him to Birmingham, AL in 2010. After they realized that being apart was something that they never wanted to experience, Chris popped the question on July 4, 2011. Rachel happily accepted and after 9 years of friendship and fun, they tied the knot on June 30, 2012.

The modern concrete and glass structure of the Akron Art Museum was the perfect setting to celebrate with their family and friends. The wedding and reception reflected every aspect of their personalities and lives together: a simple and casual yet understatedly glamorous evening complete with many DIY touches. The decision to open the art galleries and include a blues band is a juxtaposition that wonderfully encapsulates their entire relationship together.

Isadora + Omar’s Handmade Wedding in California

Hello, hello! Happy Friday! Today’s Real Wedding feature has it all: a gorgeous couple, a beautiful California location (The North Ranch in Westlake Village), handmade wedding details, a stunning gown, hot pair of heels, purple bridesmaid dresses, one of the cutest cake toppers I’ve ever seen, and pink and white wedding details abound! Yesterday I gushed about our amazing readers and today’s Real Wedding is an example of a bride who stayed happy-as-can-be, even when a little drama happened on her wedding day. Her priest was being flown in from South Africa but had to cancel due to weather, and her hair and makeup appointment ran a few hours behind. But, instead of going into freak-out mode, her photographer, Shillawna, tells us this gorgeous girl didn’t stop smiling – not once! Isadora and Omar included charming handmade details like a ‘bride’ wedding dress hanger, custom photo booth chalkboard sign, paper poms, bunting, hanging candle votives, custom favor bags, and more… even delicate teacups (one of my many wedding obsessions, as discussed here) and charming miniature teapots. So, without further adieu, read on to see this lovely pink and white California wedding and find out more by the bride! (Wedding styled by Featured Artisan Thoey of EcoMonsterand photographed by the lovely Shillawna Ruffner). Enjoy!

This is one of the most adorable cake toppers I’ve ever seen. The bride made it herself and tells us, “I made [the cake topper] using wood doll heads and wood clothespins. I painted the head and eyes and bought little pieces of fabric from a local fabric store. I used some of the extra pieces from the wedding dress to make a little belt and added a flower to the hair from the same little pieces. The platform the bride and groom are on top is half 3/4 of the salt cylinder that I wrapped with pink paper that I used from the wedding menus, and covered it with veil material I used from the headpiece on the bride. I spent about $20 and they were so much fun to make!”

The bride also made the centerpieces. She tells us, “For the center pieces I collected glass Martinelli bottles and Italian soda bottles from Trader Joe’s, washed off the label, and turned them into chic vases that were placed on top or beside vintage books found in yard sales.”

Isadora tells us about other details she handmade herself: “We used EcoMonster’s DIY tea bag kit for our favors that included tea bags and honey sticks. One of our favorite pieces of the wedding where the gorgeous flowers! They were purchased wholesale at the flower district of Los Angeles and were so fresh and smelled lovely! To entertain guests we set up a photo booth with a backdrop of ribbons purchased at wholesale, tied to a dowel from Home Depot and numerous props.”

‘He tried to make me stop’: Three-time U.S. Olympian and mother-of-three Suzy Favor-Hamilton reveals her husband knew she was a $600-an-hour Vegas call girl

This article is reprinted.  By LYDIA WARREN and SNEJANA FARBEROV

A three-time U.S. Olympian who was publicity exposed on Thursday as an elite $600-an-hour escort has revealed that her husband knew about her double life and tried to put an end to it.

Suzy Favor-Hamilton, a 44-year-old married mother of three, has been working with one of Las Vegas’ top agencies to book ‘dates’ across cities including Las Vegas, Chicago and Houston.

Despite using the name ‘Kelly Lundy’ as she advertised her services through Haley Heston’s Private Collection, her double life has been revealed after she told clients about her real identity, believing there was an unwritten rule they would not speak out.

But now at least one of these clients has contacted The Smoking Gun, which in turn has revealed the details of Favor-Hamilton’s clandestine career, which she now calls a ‘huge mistake.’

Soon after the story appeared online, instantly sparking a furor in the media, Favor-Hamilton took to Twitter to offer her 3,183 followers her side of the story.

In one missive, the 44-year-old mother explained that she was initially drawn to escorting ‘because it provided many coping mechanisms for me when I was going through a very challenging time with my marriage and my life.

‘It provided an escape from a life that I was struggling in. It was a double life,’ she wrote.

In another, Favor-Hamilton wrote that the reasons behind her decision to turn to a life of prostitution, while seemingly irrational now, ‘made sense at the time’ and were closely related to depression.

‘As crazy as I know it seems, I never thought I would be exposed, therefore never hurting anybody,’ she said in one Twitter post.

The Olympian has refused to be labelled a victim, insisting that she knew what she was doing and taking full responsibility for her actions.

She told The Smoking Gun that her husband was the only one who knew about her moonlighting as a prostitute in cities across the country.

‘He tried, he tried to get me to stop. He wasn’t supportive of this at all,’ Favor Hamilton noted.

The 44-year-old has revealed that she is currently seeking psychological help for her problem.

‘I fully intend to make amends and get back to being a good mother, wife, daughter, and friend,’ she concluded in her most recent post.

Favor-Hamilton entered the public eye competing as a middle distance runner in the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympics. She went on to record a Nike TV advert, a swimsuit calendar and carry out Disney promo work.

She now works as a motivational speaker and runs a successful realty company in Madison, Wisconsin with her husband Mark, whom she met at college. They have a seven-year-old daughter.

But last December, she began working with Haley Heston’s agency to escape this routine life, she told the Smoking Gun when it caught up with her.

It is not clear how she was introduced to the agency, but she wrote on the website: ‘I met Haley with the idea of fulfilling a fantasy and only doing it for the short term.

‘Well, after my first date, I was hooked, and have been doing my best to visit Las Vegas as often as my schedule allows (I run my own business in my real world life).’

She featured in numerous provocative photographs on her online profile on the website – yet always had her face obscured or hidden from the camera.

She explained: ‘Discretion is EXTREMELY important to me, hence you will only see blurred photos of my face on this site. I know this is not ideal, but I hope you understand that it is essential for me.’

Favor Hamilton also described herself on the profile – which has now been removed – as a ‘workout fanatic’ who enjoyed skiing, biking, hiking, running marathons and traveling.

She wrote that she was bisexual so happy to carry out services with couples.

‘Working with couples requires special skill and I pride myself in my ability to make a woman feel comfortable and not threatened in any way,’ she wrote. ‘A date with me will NEVER feel rushed.’

She listed her rates as $600 for an hour, $1,000 for two hours, $4,000 for 12 hours and $6,000 for 24 hours, according to the page seen by the Smoking Gun.

And clients are happy with her services, allowing her to be named as The Erotic Review’s third-ranked ‘provider’ in Las Vegas earlier this month.

In one July 2012 review, a client wrote: ‘She is worth every penny. I will go bankrupt before I stop seeing her. I hope no one else goes to see her, because I want her all to myself.’

Prostitution is illegal in all of the cities where Favor-Hamilton has had ‘dates’ arranged by Haley Heston. But she said that she had never considered the legal ramifications of her work.

As well as legal problems, she may also face a backlash from her other employers if they learn that she apparently fitted the ‘dates’ around her demanding work schedule.

At the end of August, Haley Heston said ‘Kelly’ would be able to work in Orange County California. On September 1, she appeared at the Disney Exhibit Hall to speak to runners ahead of the Disneyland Half Marathon the next day, which she ran with her husband.

And in another example, the service said she would be in Vegas between November 29 and December 5. She ran the December 2 Rock n’ Roll Marathon along the Strip.

After being tracked down to a hotel in Las Vegas, Favor Hamilton eventually admitted she was ‘Kelly’, and while she called the role ‘exciting’ she acknowledged she had made an error in judgment.

‘I take full responsibility for my mistakes,’ she said, the Smoking Gun reported. ‘I’m not the victim and I’m not going that route. I’m owning up to what I did. I would not blame anybody except myself.’

She added: ‘Everybody in this world makes mistakes. I made a huge mistake. Huge.’

On Thursday, she tweeted: ‘I do not expect people to understand, but the reasons for doing this made sense to me at the time and were very much related to depression.

‘I cannot emphasize enough how sorry I am to anyone I have hurt as a result of my actions and greatly appreciate the support from family and those closest to me. I fully intend to make amends and get back to being a good mother, wife, daughter, and friend.’

She said that she had not second guessed telling clients about her real identity and called herself ‘too trusting’. She said she expected all clients to honor a silence code.

Of the client Favor Hamilton suspected of going to the media, she said: ‘He totally broke all the rules by outing me.’

But she explained that she would not be revealing his identity to his loved ones as: ‘I don’t want to be like him. Because he is scum. And I will not become scum to make myself feel good.’

The revelation will come as no shock to her husband, who already knows of her side-career, she said. He repeatedly tried to make her stop, but she had refused.

She added that she had recently started therapy to come to terms with what she had done.

The couple does not appear to be suffering any financial hardship, according to court and municipal records.

But she has spoken of struggles in the past, including how she suffered from postpartum depression after her daughter’s birth in 2005.

Her brother Dan also killed himself in 1999 and, when she ran in the 1500-meter final at the Sydney Olympics the following year, she purposefully fell when runners overtook her as she was ashamed she could not win the medal in his memory.

Unveiled: New Playboy corsets for Indian bunnies come with sheer ankle-length sari (but it still isn’t that modest)

This article is reprinted.  By G. SEETHARAMAN and BETH STEBNER

When the iconic Playboy Enterprises announced the launch of its clubs in Goa, India in November, the big question on fans’ minds was what the Playboy bunny costume would be.

This was unveiled at a press conference in Mumbai on Wednesday. The famous corset has been tweaked with an allusion to sari and paired with a translucent ankle-length skirt. But the other trademark paraphernalia, like the ears, bow tie and tail, remain.

The new sheer corsets do not follow the traditional, skimpier Playboy Bunny uniform, in that sheer panelling has been added.

But even with the culturally-cognizant design, some fear the costumes mark a slippery slope and that opening the Playboy club would encourage debaucherous and vulgar behavior.

Risky business: Some are wary of the new club and the way its waitresses will dress, because they clash with traditional Indian modestyRisky business: Some are wary of the new club and the way its waitresses will dress, because they clash with traditional Indian modesty

Dilip Parulekar, the tourism minister to Goa, said in November: ‘We will not entertain anyone who is here to spread obscenity and nudity,’ according to the Times of India.

Sanjay Gupta, the chief of Playboy India explained the rationale behind the still-skimpy apparel in a country where modesty is highly valued.

‘Revealing outfits are frowned up to in this country. If you watch Bollywood films, you will see women dressed far sexier and in more revealing outfits,’ he told the Telegraph.

The change in the costume, designed by US-based Mohini Tadikonda ‘keeping in mind Indian sensibilities’ is a first for Playboy, its executive vice-president and chief revenue officer Matthew Nordby said.

Playboy, which has its origins in the magazine founded by Hugh Hefner in 1953, inked a deal with its India licensee PB Lifestyle India in November to open at least 120 outlets over the next 10 years.

The outlets include clubs, bars and cafes. The first club is coming up on the Candolim beach in Goa by March, which will be followed by another one in Hyderabad.
